ASSIGNMENT 3 2
Assignment 3: Developing and Simulating a Learner-Centered Teaching Plan
A learner-centered teaching plan is focused on improving healthcare outcomes through
the initiative of educating patients with clear methodologies. The following activity will focus on
the cognitive domain of the case summary which will be discussed. According to Clark (2015),
the cognitive domain is an important for recall and recognition, which would help the patient in
assessing her given condition. A table that would delineate the learning objective, teaching
strategies, and rationale for selecting such strategy will be presented with a focus on conveying
the insights needed for proper cognition of the patient’s condition. This information will then be
translated into a simulation that will be good for at least three minutes.
