Overview of the Industry
The sportswear market is a very mass market in the UK, it is set to achieve a market
growth of 21% by 2023 according to data specialists GlobalData. It is estimated that
£6.7 billion is to be spent within the sportswear market alone, which offers retailers
and producers great opportunity within this market. This huge growth in sportswear is
set to be higher than all other retailers within areas of retail. Tis market has grown
considerably during lockdown, where people discovered that sportswear is go-to
product when it comes to exercising or just relaxing in general.
The Business – Decreal Gear
Decreal is an independent sportswear company that designs and produces its own
products, they have an exceptional reputation when it comes to the quality of their
products, they have a very up to date stylish clothing range which further attracts
customers to the business. They sell from their online store; they do not have any
stores however offer free delivery or free returns for their products. I have been asked
to produce a marketing campaign for this business, to help them increase their brand
awareness which they aspire would increase their profit mark. They also want to
increase sales so this marketing campaign should aid in them achieving this. For this, I
will help them plan out how to create successful content for social media to provide
information about fitness, training programmes and other useful advice.
