Generally caused by compression and bending and results in the bone discontinuities & fracture lines. *Includes punching; typically results in relatively CLEAN, SIMPLE FRACTURES, without significant crushing or comminution. -Types of objects: pick axe handles, poles, bamboo sticks, axes, ox-cart handles, or shovels
